Refund policy

Coffee Lava sells freshly roasted, perishable whole bean coffee. Our coffee is roasted at origin on the farm in Berlín, El Salvador, then shipped direct to you. Because of this, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on opened bags or bags that have been shipped.

 

Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our coffee. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was described, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will make it right — either by sending a replacement bag or issuing a full refund. No hassle, no runaround.

 

What Qualifies for a Refund or Replacement

       Bag arrived visibly damaged or seal was broken on delivery

       Wrong item shipped

       Order never arrived and tracking confirms non-delivery

       Verifiable quality defect (mold, contamination, off odor not attributable to roast profile)

 

What Does Not Qualify

       Taste preference — coffee is a subjective experience and we describe each roast profile in full on our product pages

       Buyer’s remorse or ordering the wrong roast level

       Delayed delivery caused by carrier

       Orders not reported within 7 days of confirmed delivery

 

Presale Orders

Our coffee is roasted at origin in Berlín, El Salvador and held for shipment until the presale window closes. Presale orders are final once placed. If you need to cancel before we begin fulfillment, contact us immediately at the email below and we will do our best to accommodate. No cancellations can be accepted once fulfillment has begun.
